For thirty-four years, I was a swimming instructor — helping frightened children find the courage to let go of the pool's edge. I loved every moment, but quietly, I carried another dream.

Every summer, I'd return to Noosa Heads. The warm sand, the little cafés, the quiet mornings by the ocean. And every year, I'd think the same thing: someday.

I noticed women my age struggling to find swimwear that made them feel comfortable and beautiful. I wanted to change that.

So eight years ago, I opened my little swimwear boutique right here in Noosa Heads.

Now, at sixty-seven, it's time to retire.

Not because something went wrong.

Because something went beautifully right — and I'm wise enough to know when a story has reached its ending.
